As passionate lovers of music and fortunate enough to play various instruments, we can vouch for the influential role that music has played throughout our lives. A day doesn’t go by without playing or listening to it. It’s the reason why we wouldn’t step into our cars without being able to listen to top quality audio components. We’re firm believers that every child should be afforded this same opportunity as part of their education. There’s no reason why a gifted or inspired child should be denied the opportunity to pursue their musical interests.
As such, we’re proud to align ourselves with the Vh1 Save The Music Foundation. Their research has clearly proven that students who study a musical instrument are more engaged in school, perform significantly better in the rest of their academic studies and improve their ability to work together in a team environment. These are undeniable benefits that music education can have in a young person’s life. Started in 1997, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation has restored over 1,600 music programs across over 100 cities and is responsible for placing instruments into the hands of over 1.2 million children.
